I have the root disk encrypted with aes-xts-plain64 After upgrading to linux-image-3.16.0-67-generic I was not able to boot getting message cryptsetup: cryptsetup failed, bad password or options? Trying to decrypt manually the disk shows the xts-plain64 method missing. After reverting to linux-image-3.16.0-62-generic the password was recognized and the boot completed successfully Thanks Jorge ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- xts-plain64 encryption method missing in linux-image-3.16.0-67-generic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1563900 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
