Hi Christopher, I tried version 16.04 after following the link below and installing xenial-desktop-i386.iso on a memory stick. The first try, it didn't recognize my screen so I re-installed it and tried again. It worked fine, but Firefox seemed to have a few bugs as it would not load a script and so I ended up re-starting it because I couldn't get it to respond. Then it worked fine until it went to black and white. The B&W mode almost seemed like a power saving feature and the screen would go back to colour once in a while. As I am writing this, I am back to v15.1. I don't know how you would like this written up or what information you would like. I can live with the occasional wonky screen if need be as it seems to self-correct if I switch to another application and then back. Still, something funny is going on. Perhaps it is a problem with my PC. - I used a toshiba system check tool and it seemed to indicate everything was okay. Please let me know if you want me to pursue this further. Thanks, Jonathan
