Title: i915 corruption in 4.4.0-9 Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Hi Tim, Text is getting corrupted in 4.4.0-9. I see changes have been made to the i915 driver. Booting on ABI 8 fixes the corruption. This is very similar to what I saw: http://askubuntu.com/questions/584922/how-do-i-fix-fonts-not- rendering-and-missing-letters I would deem this release critical. I'm on Lenovo x201.
