Bug description:
Hi, with kernel 2.6.9-12 hibernating finally works on my computer. However,
when I wake up the computer, it doesn't re initialise ALSA and sound doesn't
work. That means I have to put " sudo /etc/init.d/alsa force-reload " into
  the terminal.

Although that command makes sound work again, it crashes the Gnome volume
  mixer on the panel.
