Public bug reported: I reported this in January, but it seems to have re-appeared after yesterday's clean installation. Yesterday, I took the new daily build after I received news that the alpha release was ready. I installed it after formatting the drive, and the top menus worked fine. I used Libreoffice writer a number of times yesterday, and again this morning. I did no further update+upgrade, but after several sessions, the menus were no longer to be seen. I can live with it until the final release, but thought I ought to mention it.
