I built a test kernel, which is up to commit: 1b375dc30710180c4b88cc59caba6e3481ec5c8b
You tested this kernel before in comment #19 and hit the first bug(The system lockup with an oops on evdev). However, this kernel now has commit a4a23f6 reverted, so you should not hit the first bug. We are testing to see if you hit the second bug, which is the oops on memcpy. The test kernel can be downloaded from: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1218004/ I'm also going to ping upstream regarding the first bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1218004 Title: Apple Wireless Trackpad causes kernel oops Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: This seems to happen whenever I connect my Apple Wireless Trackpad and use it.
