You have been subscribed to a public bug: Machine is a HP 250 G4 notebook with Celeron N3050, with BIOS F.1A Rev.A (latest).
When I add a external display (VGA, 1920x1080@60Hz), sometimes when I cross over to it with the mouse cursor, it flickers (turns off for about 1-2 seconds), and I get: [ 692.452293] [drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915_bpo]] *ERROR* CPU pipe C FIFO underrun. It will do this for 2-3 times, and then it will turn off completely (external display has no VGA signal). Also reproduces with Kubuntu 15.10 (in Live mode).
