This problem also happens to my Acer Aspire E5-551G with AMD FX-7500 Radeon R7 and Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 under 14,04, 14.10, 15.04 and 15.10. Bluetooth doesn't work, following error using the terminal command dmesg: "Direct firmware load for brcm/BCM.hcd failed with error -2". I hope to get a solution soon. It is a bit irritating to own a new laptop, but not able to use WiFi and Bluetooth.
