Public bug reported: I'm following the bug reporting documentation here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection#In_case_Touchpad_features_like_scrolling.2C_tapping.2C_etc._do_not_work_at_all. I just bought a new computer, and installed ubuntu. Unfortunately the touchpad is detected as a mouse and I'm not sure how I can find the brand of the touchpad device. I'm attaching some logs that should helpful, let me know anything else I can add.
