Public bug reported: We have a rebuild test which is intended to confirm the kernel still builds when core-utils, gcc, ld etc change. It makes no sense for this test to run for the kernel itself as it takes a very long time to run and we have literally just built the kernel with those tools.
Check for the trigger being something other than the kernel packages themselves before doing the rebuild. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Andy Whitcroft (apw) Status: In Progress ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Andy Whitcroft (apw) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1498862 Title: autopkgtest: rebuild test should not run when testing ourselves Status in linux package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: We have a rebuild test which is intended to confirm the kernel still builds when core-utils, gcc, ld etc change.
