You have been subscribed to a public bug: I noticed that there's a critical problem with using the GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi 2 running Ubuntu Mate. Everytime I try enabling a pin with Python it crashes with the error message "Segmentation fault (core dumped)".
It seems like a problem with the Kernel like it is explained here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/30442719/getting-segmentation-fault- when-using-rpi-gpio-setup-on-raspberry-pi-2 ** Affects: ubuntu-mate Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Python segmentation fault when using GPIO pins (Raspberry Pi 2) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1480190 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
