Florian R, if your overheat is CPU correlated, then you would want to governor the CPUs as outlined in the previous article (as well as dust out the chassis, and if an older computer redo the thermal paste, etc.).
Also, even with the fan at maximum 100% of the time isn't really going to help much in comparison to CPU governor.
