Hey jack tavares , i had the same problem with my T450S. I just tested the new Ubuntu 15.04 Beta2 and there the Trackpoint Keys are working perfect. left clicking and right clicking and scrolling by pressing the middle button and move the trackpoint is working out of the box.
BUT, even though i disabled the touchpad by the bios setting it is working nevertheless under Ubuntu 15.04 Beta 2 . Magic ;). I think it is just a soft switch inside the BIOS settings, and the module is not recognizing this setting inside the bios.
