Even if the NetworkManager says that it is still connected, nothing works and I have to manually disconnect and re-connect. The problem was not present in in Ubuntu 14.04 and seems to be resolved in 3.18-rc5, even if in this case the connections seem to be slower (but stable). WORKAROUND: Use 802.11g.
