Jeff Lane, as per http://download.lenovo.com/express/ddfm.html an update
is available for your BIOS (1.25/1.16). If you update to this, does it
change anything?
If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of
the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.

[Lenovo E325] Odd variance in memory amounts available to system

Bug description:
Noticed this during certification of Precise on the E325
(201106-8081). The memory/info test failed in checkbox due to a large
variance in the amount of memory installed according to BIOS (via DMI)
and that available to the OS according to /proc.
To see this, use the following:
sudo /usr/share/checkbox/scripts/memory_compare
