Also, the stupid daily image apparently screwed up my partition, because
now I get a grub error when trying to boot without it, and when I went
into gparted from the 13.04 usb stick I had, and checked the partition,
it now has errors...

If you open the lid of a suspended laptop, and then immediately close
it again, it will not go back into suspend. It will stay awake.
