development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If the issue remains,
could you please run the following command in the development release
from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will
automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this
report:
apport-collect -p linux <replace-with-bug-number>

Display off during booting

Bug description:
No signal received on the internal display during Ubuntu 12.10 bootup, X.Org
works perfectly.
Using kernel 3.5.0-17, AMD HD 3200 with opensource drivers.
EDIT: Pressing the ESC key during the mainline v3.5 kernel booting the
internal display turns on and shows the terminal, pressing it again finally
shows Plymouth splash screen.
