Title:
  HP BL460C - no console video after kernel upgrade

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Install 12.04 LTS 64bit on a new HP BL460c Blade server, after install
  everything is okay, get the updates:

  apt-get update
  apt-get upgrade

  reboot server

  Then update the Kernel:

  apt-get dist-upgrade -> This upgrades kernel to : 3.2.0-35-generic

  reboot.

  After reboot, I can still ssh to the server but there is not console
  video.

  Video chipset on the server is an ATI ES1000 (rev 02).

  when I reboot with the provided kernel : 3.2.0-29-generic, console
  video returns.

  Tested on another blade, in a different chassis same issue.

  Let me know what other info you need.
