Christopher, the problem was fixed with the new kernel. What would you expect to change after the bios update? Or do I need to downgrade the kernel back to the old version and then see if the bios update also fixes the problem?

When I close the lid it doesn't go into suspend mode. When I leave the lid open and choose suspend from the desktop the srceen turns off and then comes back up prompting for me to sign in again. I already tried to disable wake on lan in my bios, but my bios doesn't even has such a function. Read on the internet somewhere that somebody fixed it by clearing his .config directory. Tried that, but doesn't do the trick for me. Let me attach my syslog contents after trying to suspend. I see it saying: "Some devices failed to suspend", and after that it seems to wakeup again. Somebody any idea what might be the problem here? Thanks in advance!
