As far as I can tell the problem lies in Ubuntu's Stock kernel, therefore is connected to Ubuntu, also all the software is from Ubuntu's repository, really all that is different is a couple of modifications to Lubuntu such as adding some programs, changing wallpapers and textures, ect, so my spin-off is closer to Ubuntu than you think. (I could make it back to Ubuntu's Unity If it is required.)
I don't want to sound like I'm asking for support but is there any tutorials or anything that could help me with this, For example would there any possibility that compiling the kernel from source and using that option that uses the pc beep speaker instead of the sound card have any chance of working? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1054897 Title: no sound on toshiba satellite L30 Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: there is a problem with linux where the speakers on a toshiba satellite PSL30A-00100E won't work, however the headphones do.
