A class 10 Sony SD 16GB card that worked on 12.04 now fails to read on 13.04. I am not sure if 12.10 has the problem because I did not use the Sony SD card on 12.10. On 13.04, two other Kodak 1GB SD card worked fine on 13.04 and they worked fine before on 12.04. On 12.04, the 16GB automounts fine and I am also able to read and write it fine. So on 13.04, automount does not work, and certainly I can't tell if I can read or write to it. dmesg displays the following several times: mmc0: error -110 whilst initialising SD card root@jupiter:/var/log# cat /proc/version_signature > version.log root@jupiter:/var/log# cat version.log Ubuntu 3.8.0-19.30-generic 3.8.8 root@jupiter:/tmp# lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 13.04 Release: 13.04 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 Package: linux-image-3.8.0-19-generic 3.8.0-19.30 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.8.0-19.30-generic 3.8.8 Uname: Linux 3.8.0-19-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.9.2-0ubuntu8 Architecture: amd64 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: cllee 2125 F.... pulseaudio Date: Tue May 14 23:58:47 2013 GvfsMonitorLog: Monitoring events.
