Hi Christopher. I tried something else and the mic works ok now. I have the problem if i connect the camera in usb2 ports in front side of the computer and the usb3 ports in back side of the computer. In usb2 ports in back side in the computer the internal mic of the camera looks to work without problems. With the original kernel version of ubuntu 13.04 or the last the results are same. But only if you want tell me and tommorow will sent you 2 log files. The first with the camera connected in usb2 ( front side of the computer ) with the mic problem and the second with the camera connected in usb2 ( back side of the computer ) without the mic problem. I check and the internal mic of logitech quickcam fusion works perfect in windows7 and 8 64bit I hope you can fix it because i cannot use the ubuntu or another linux in my system with this problem.
