Hi
Firstly I am not sure if this is the correct place for this question, if it isn't then apologies and could someone point me in the direction of the correct place? I have a bash shell script that is executed from the 'on commit' statement in the DHCPD.CONF file of an installation of ISC DHCP (the host OS is Fedora 15); one of the lines in the script is: klist |grep DHCPTEST.COM If I run the script from a shell command prompt, the variable '$?' is set to 0 (which is what I expect as there is an entry for DHCPTEST.COM); if the script is executed from the 'on commit' statement of the DHCPD.CONF file, the variable '$?' is set to 1 (indicating failure). Further testing shows that every time 'klist' is used in the script when it is executed from the 'on commit' statement, the variable '$?' is always set to 1; even if the command is run as just 'klist', the variable '$?' is always set to 1. Is this a known bug in klist or is it by design for a script run in a non-interactive shell?
