   No, I'm afraid you cannot use variables in this manner in Kea.

You can, however, assign a value to the "boot-file-name" field directly within 
the client class definition as:

       "client-classes": [ {
          "name": "PXEClient",
          "test": "option[vendor-class-identifier].text == 'PXEClient'",
          "boot-file-name": "pxebootfile" }],
