Kea users-
The Kea 2.4.1 packages we built when we posted the release were faulty: the
permissions were set wrongly on the Kea configuration and leases files. We have
re-built the packages and re-uploaded them to our repository at
https://cloudsmith.io/~isc/repos/kea-2-4/packages/. There are no changes to
the software itself, however, and therefore no new software version.
If you are planning to update to Kea 2.4.1, please use the new packages.
If you have already updated to Kea 2.4.1, you can run your updater again and
the new packages will be available as an update, or, if you prefer, you can
just manually change the read/write permissions on the files.
You can tell if you are using the newer packages by looking at the “date
uploaded” - the packages posted 8 months ago have the issue. The date is also
included in the package version number: the new packages have the version
r20240807083026.
