You could match on the MAC address OUI, i.e., match on 3 first octets.

Subject: [Kea-users] Restrict pool for some MAC address only

Hi!

I'm installing the latest version of kea-dhcp6 and dhcp4 and I would like to
know if this scenario is possible: I have a range of IP's (let's say, for
example, 192.168.0.10 to 192.168.0.50) and I would like to restrict these IP's
(but keep it in random way) to a list of specific MAC addresses. Is it possible?

I already have my kea configured to use my host-allocation in the database (in
my case, mysql).

I know that I can allocate one IP to a specific MAC address......but what I
need is to allocate random IP (from that specific range) to a list of MAC
addresses previously populated in my host allocation database. Is that possible?

Thank you!
