Hi,
I am just doing some quick experimentation trying to create a very crude
"something has changed" check on my homelab DHCPv4 server.
My thought is to perform a "command": "statistic-get-all" and check if
"cumulative-assigned-addresses" and "reclaimed-leases" are different from last
time, and if so do a more thorough check afterwards to find out exactly what has
changed.
However, when experimenting with this I use the "lease4-add" command to add some
dummy leases, but these do not increase the "cumulative-assigned-addresses"
counter.
They do increase the "subnet[1].pool[0].assigned-addresses", and the
"reclaimed-leases"
also increase when they time out, so I was just wondering if there is a bug
here, or if this
cumulative counter is working as intended.
Plugging in a "real" host does increase all statistics as expected.
Best regards,
Jonas
