=> in fact you can't: there is no direct way to carry the hardware address in DHCPv6. BTW the opposite exists: RFC 4361 specifies a way to use a DUID in DHCPv4. Of course you can find it in DHCPv6 messages, the problem is usually there are many ways which are not guaranted to return a value or the same value.
