Hi, It is possible for the client to prevent DDNS updates being done by the server in Kea (as is intended in the relevant RFC). See these settings:
ddns-override-no-update ddns-override-client-update in the ARM: https://kea.readthedocs.io/en/kea-2.4.0/index.html for details. There are other ddns specific parameters you may want to investigate.
