After removing all four filter auto-generated by the Anti Spam Wizard for Bogofilter the messages from IMAP are retrieved in a regular manner again, without any duplicates. Before that I saw a race in the progress bars at the bottom right-hand side between the mail filter agent and the IMAP agent, which doen't happen now, but there is a hanging progressbar at 0% for the Mail Filter Agent. Opening the filter dialog again results in an entry I've never made: <unknown>.
