The server responds, as it can auto-detect SSL settings, and the folder tree downloads, but no messages will download. No amount of aborting, syncing, or restarting from the akonadi console helps, it just sticks on "Syncing folder 'Inbox' (0%)" forever with no particular output to the terminal. Every now and again, it will stop as though it completed, but still no messages appear.
