(I had not been using the default location.) (2) Kmail had lost the whole 'POP' server setup. (SMTP server setup still intact) (3) All mail filters had to be adjusted to reflect the re-found Local folders. (4) All folder 'View' settings had been reset to default. So any relative newcomer to Kmail will have a hard time sorting it out. Perhaps some Help info should appear when KMail 4.13 realises it's a 'transition' stage from a pre-4.13 situation?
