piedro <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] | |m --- Comment #5 from piedro <[email protected]> --- Thanks to everyone for taking care of things! Sorry for the missing backtrace, but the crash report said it wouldn't be useful. I will check how to create useful backtraces but I have to finish stuff on a schedule, can't do it before that. RIght now I am busy with fixing things to work but I will catch up eventually. One interesting point though: Reluctantly I deleted my akonadi database (I had issues with a lot of double entries for mails and contacts and notes within kontact). After restarting kontact with a clean database most of these issues dissappeared. I had to reset all of the folder settings for all mail accounts and I am still trying to figure out how to clean up my notes (they suddenly tripled!) ... but the good news is: Now I can open the kontact preferences without crash !!! So to my understanding it seems to be a migration problem related to the entries in the mysql database for akonadi ... thx for your efforts - keep up the ironing out, I'll try to make a useful backtrace if it happens again, with best regards, piedro -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
