On Fedora 19, I managed to get rid of that bug with the following:

- install of the package mysql-connector-odbc
- restart akonadi

Note that I obviously use MySQL (actually MariaDB) as backend for Akonadi.
KDE 4.11.5
Virtuoso 6.1.6
