Probably the following actions led to some mails being empty: in a mailing list folder, I saw a thread with about 13 mails deep. Three of them are shown in kmail2 with an attachment icon. I collapsed the thread and wanted to delete the whole thread so I pressed Shift+Del. I now have still the whole thread, but two messages with the attachment icon are completely empty. Saving one of these to a file contains only the following: >From [email protected].
