--- Comment #45 from Bill Rosmus <[email protected]> --- Thank you for the response and just a note for the kmail team. This bug caused me to switch to thunderbird email. The fact that it wasn't resolved before the buck was passed and now it won't be fixed. Of course it makes sense not to fix something that isn't used anymore, but that's not the point. Volunteers yes. Thunderbird has paid employees. Their bugs get fixed. Regardless, the lack of any useful method to import or export email from the new kmail is another good reason to avoid it. I'd file a bug report for it, but it has already been done by numerous people. And it is being ignored like this. Yes I am ranting, but instead of adding features and making it look pretty, maybe your programmers should make it work better. Yes that is the problem with volunteers, it is more fun to make the cool stuff so the important stability stuff is ignored. I do it on my own time projects too. Hire some people, when they get paid they will feel obliged to the stuff that really needs doing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
