Glad I read the bug report as I didn't realise that canceling the send and retrying would would succeed. Looks like some sort of timing issue with accessing kwallet? The problem only happens on the first send of each akonadi session, i.eI I can recreate it by closing kmail and restarting akonadi. Additionally - I have to identities/email servers set up.
