Bug ID: 295576
Severity: normal
Version: 4.8
Priority: NOR
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: 4.8.1: gmail emails are blank in Inbox, two of each
email shows up in All Mail, one is blank the other has
correct content
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Gentoo Packages
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Component: general
Product: kmail2
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/534.34 (KHTML,
like Gecko) konqueror/4.8.1 Safari/534.34
Build Identifier:
This is new in 4.8.1 - prior to the upgrade, kmail handled gmail just fine.
I get my google+ updates in gmail, and I'm noticing that as new updates come
in, I see three copies: one in Inbox, and two in All Mail. (In 4.8.0, there
were two copies, one for each Inbox and All Mail.) The one in Inbox as well as
one of the copies in All Mail are blank (header seems intact, but no body).
The second copy in All Mail is fine.

MIME-Version: 1.0
====end blank email====
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Receive an email (doesn't need to be from G+ - I got the same thing with a
Gentoo Bugzilla email) in Gmail.
Actual Results:
Two blank emails (that should not be blank) and an extra copy in All Mail (that
should not be there at all).
Expected Results:
Same as with KDE 4.8.0 - only two "copies" (they're linked - if I read in one
view, it's eventually marked read in the other).
