After a while, I noticed that hitting 's' no longer even brought up the search box, now I get the message that nepomuk is not available instead. The nepomuk server process output the following: ProcessControl: Application '/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub' stopped unexpected (Process crashed) Application '/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub nepomukstorage' crashed to often. Giving up!
