Akonadi/Kmail can not recognize incoming messages. Because of this it is not possible to filter incoming messages or to give these messages a different colour. To workaround the problem of filtering messages when Kmail is started: I've made a filter to move unread messages older than 30 days out of the inbox. This way my inbox is reduced from 4000 to 300 messages.
