(2) Today, I succeeded to start Kmail and connect to my imap account, but Kmail is not able to display any mail, giving an error message "IMAP account: Unknown error. (Unable to append item flags.)". I am now using Thunderbird instead, which is working fine. (3) The entire Kubuntu is running in a virtual machine under WMware Workstation 8.0.0 and was originally installed as Version 11.04, then automatically upgraded to Version 11.10.
