Summary: Kmail2 cannot connect to pop3 server
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 4.7
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

Ever since I've upgraded to kmail2, pop3 doesn't seem to work.

I set up our company's pop3 server as one of my accounts. When I try to
retrieve my mails, I get an error message, saying
"<account name>: Unable to login to the server <server>. Opening connections is
not supported with the protocol https."

What's funny that this message doesn't get even one hit from Google, yet it is
happening...

I'd be happy to provide other information, so please let me know if you need
any.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Set up a pop3 account.

Expected Results:
The mails are downloaded from the server.
