When opening kmail apparentlty the aaplication is nor ready for immediate use ;
the idndex bar at the bottome of the main window shows some obcure activity ;
the user as to wait on something bu what ?

open the app

slowliness at startup
Expected Results:
as fast as previous version ; when an app needs to do something before opening
the best is to display a message box saying what the application has to do
before opening
