--- Comment #2 from Cristian Tibirna <tibirna kde org> 2011-09-18 15:18:30 --- Unfortunately that server is behind a firewall I don't have control of. On the other side, that server is the standard version that shipped with many versions of Linux for many years. If my understanding of the documentation is correct, there is no way of working around this flaw in design. This server in particular (but perhaps a few others) was designed to push $HOME by default. It is only by changing the source code of the server that this can be corrected, but then the server doesn't advertise what directory it is configured to serve up, so there is no way of telling if it was "fixed" or not. Equally, on some situations (i.e. dedicated mail servers), serving up the whole $HOME is "OK", because $HOME contains _only_ mailboxes. This makes the automatic detection impossible and the whole situation very frustrating indeed. I believe the manual option is necessary (perhaps hidden behind a push button -- like for "serverside subscription"). Thanks a lot for your help. It is greatly appreciated. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
