--- Comment #179 from Harry <harryl owc net> 2011-08-28 23:26:10 --- My crash problems happen when Akregator refreshes an RSS feed when the filter in the feed subject pane is set at unread. At a refresh, certain RSS feeds bleed more listings than are tallied for the feed. selecting one of the new listings I believe causes an error condition since the count in the left pane versus the feeds shown are incorrect. If you select another feed in the left pane, then go back to the last selection, the counts correct themselves, and the detail pane now shows the correct number that are currently unread. When this error condition happens, it does not immediately crash Kontact, it is when Kontact is closed then reopened when the warning popup for the seg fault happens. I would suggest looking at the code that controls the metadata history when a filter (Unread, New) is used on the detail pane. When a malformed RSS listing arrives, it must get by the handling code and produces the fault. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
