Even when I try to set read status manually through the context menu it doesn't work and mail is still remains in blue color as unread. Also, often, after I read a mail and then hit the "check mail" button, just read messages appears as unread again. In kmail settings I have "mark messages as read after 0 seconds". Best regards. P.S.
