I cannot reproduce this bug, but i have find out the following behavior when i was trying to reproduce the bug. 1)open kmail 2)sent an email (you will be asked for password) 3)if you don't close the kmail and you sent a new one, then you will not be asked for the password 4)close kmail. And open it again. Now if you try to sent a new email, you will be asked for the password again.
