Summary: If a Kmail is not accepted by the server Kmail removes
it from the mail in the outgoing-folder
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 2.0.89
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Version: 2.0.89 (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

As I just learned while stumbling on Bug #260615, Kmail removes the
emailaddresses from the mail which remains in the outgoing-folder. On the one
hand, a nice service, as you can send the mail out again very fast. But it also
has a disadvantage. You can not correct the may be misspelled address and if
there are more of them (long CC), you have difficulties finding out, which ones
to remove or change in the addressbook. Therefor I would suggest to change this
behaviour. May be put all the not working addresses at the end of the list and
mark them (red e.g.).

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-7-generic-pae
Compiler: cc
