I had changed permission on a file to see if Akonadi would start. After changing permissions I logged user out (to pickup permission changes) and got message Kmail had crashed and asked if I wanted to report it. I said yes and went thru the wizzard. After restart I still had problems with Akonadi starting, I finally reinstall my whole 11.4 setup with the latest KDE 4.6 Beta 1.etc (from SUSE MS4 DVD). After restore all worked fine (Akonadi, KDE, etc). I think there must have been some corrupt file somewhere. I did the restore last week so thats why this was not updated. Appears to be solved in 4.6 Beta 1. I'm sending this from my 11.3 system (KDE 4.5.4). I'd be Ok with closing this if you do not want to pursue it.
