It happens every day at 3pm (GMT+2). None of the browsers could access any websites (IE7, FF, Chrome, Opera), but I could continue a SSH session that was already open (no new connection possible though). I usually restarted the system to restore functionality, until I figured out Kleopatra was to blame.
